In this hands-on major, you'll analyze, design and test solutions, and we give you space to practice what you learn in class. Our Computer Information Systems (CIS) Sandbox is an on-campus learning lab stocked with software for you to test drive and collaborate with peers. The CIS degree will equip you with the knowledge and understanding of information technology (IT) capabilities and implications, as well as with competency in “best-of-breed” methodologies and tools for information systems development. Graduates are prepared to excel in any of the emerging and varied roles of the IT professional: systems analyst, application developer, systems integrator, IT liaison, end-user support, network manager, vendor representative and technical support specialist.
